Songwhale is a free entertainment service delivering premium digital content directly to your handheld device.
The content is available to you at select sporting events, concerts, retail stores, festivals, and more.
With Songwhale, there is no subscription or login requirement to access the Songwhale Network. Songwhale works on any compatible device regardless of wireless carrier.
Users connecting to the Songwhale Network are never charged for our free service, as the Songwhale Network is sponsored by the organization/event.
How to receive the content
While at a Songwhale event simply go to Wi-Fi Networks on your device, choose the "Songwhale" Wi-Fi Network, and download your free content. Tip: many cell phones have internet access but are not Wi-Fi capable. Check your phone's specifications to see if your phone is Wi-Fi compatible.
If you don’t have Wi-Fi but you do have Bluetooth, make sure your Bluetooth is turned on and set to Visible or Discoverable. You can then interact with Songwhale Touchtooth and Human Hotspots for instant prizes.
If you do not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; you can still receive content and prizes through Songwhale Fastlane using common USB keys and cell phone memory. Although you may not be aware, most cell phones and many cameras have a memory card in them. These cards are often used to store pictures and videos. These removable storage cards can be used with Songwhale Fastlane.
Finally, if your cell phone does not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, you don’t have a memory card, you forgot your digital camera, or you do not even own a USB key there is still an opportunity for you to utlize the Songwhale Network. You can simply use Songwhale texting. Keep an eye out for the Jumbotron, posters, handouts, monitors, televisions, etc. displaying Songwhale text promotions.
Human Hotspots -
A Human Hotspot is a mobile Songwhale Network that is accessible to you throughout the event venue. A Human Hotspot is a Songwhale team member equipped with mobile Songwhale technology that allows them to circulate throughout venues on foot and distribute content to you on the go.
